Event Overview

Lions Fort Company took part in HITEX 2026, Erbil's technology exhibition, with two of our brands: HezrraLink and GP Batteries. HITEX brings technology companies, resellers, engineers, and buyers from across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region to Erbil each year.

This year we built our booth around two things every installation needs: the cabling that carries the network and the batteries that power the devices on it. Our team was at the booth through the exhibition to show the products and answer questions.

HezrraLink Cabling and Cabinets

HezrraLink covers the passive side of a network. At the booth we showed Cat.6 UTP patch cords, shielded and unshielded cable, wall-mounted cabinets, outdoor cabinets, and HD video over fiber optic.

Installers and system integrators could compare shielded and unshielded cable side by side and check the build of the cabinets before choosing for a project. Unshielded cable suits most offices and homes. Shielded cable is for sites with electrical interference, such as factories and server rooms.

GP Batteries

GP Batteries has made batteries since 1964, and Lions Fort Company is its authorized distributor in Iraq. We showed the full range:

• Alkaline: standard and ultra batteries in AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V for remotes, toys, and everyday electronics.
• Rechargeable NiMH: batteries that can be recharged up to 1,000 times, for devices that drain power fast.
• Lithium: CR2032 and CR123A cells for professional and specialty devices.
• Hearing aid batteries: small cells made for hearing aids.

All GP batteries on display are mercury-free.
